Sony DCR-DVD108 DVD Handycam Camcorder with 40x Optical Zoom

This unit records video straight to mini-DVD disks. You can plug the unit into a TV and play back, you can play back on the LCD, you can finalize the disk and put it into a standard DVD player, or a computer DVD drive. The unit comes with software to install on your PC that you can then use to edit the video clips, then re-burn to a new DVD if you have a DVD burner on your PC. The Zoom function on this unit it so powerful it's absurd. It has a standard 40X optical zoom that is more than enough. On top of that it has a digital zoom that you can program for 80X or a totally insane 2000X. I can zoom in on a single letter of a word, in a small print book, from 50ft away, and then the letter disappears and turns to pixels.

It has a "widescreen" setting in the video options, and the manual does not say that this model records in widescreen, but it does! It also has a really cool nightshot feature that uses Infrared Radiation so you can film in total darkness. The sound quality of this unit is what most impressed me. Very clear, and it has a dolby 5.1 surround converter. It weighs less than 1 pound, and the battery lasts for 90 recording minutes on a full charge.

Canon VIXIA HF M41 Full HD Camcorder with HD CMOS Pro and 32GB Internal Flash Memory

Well, I have had this camcorder now for a week and tested it in many lighting situations and locations and I must say I'm very impressed. Outside filming my niece and dogs in the yard the videos are crisp viewed on my 40" Sony HD LCD TV. I would give it a 5 out of 5. In my eyes, looks broadcast quality. Indoors with varying light was also impressive although I did notice a little graininess. I'd give low light a 4 star rating. Being as anal as I am, I did a little test. Take it for what it's worth.

Now I am the most anal person you will probably meet and maybe set my expectations too high at times, but I started flipping through some of the HD channels on t.v. to do a little comparison and noticed too a bit of graininess if I stood right up to the television. Now I know nobody watches t.v from three inches away, I just wanted to compare what was being broadcasted to what I was able to film with this camera. I must say, this camera's footage is nearly spot on in many instances (TNT in HD, FOX in HD, USA in HD) I'd like to believe I have a good signal from my cable provider into my television, so in overall video quality, I'd give this camera 5 stars.

So why not 5 stars overall for this camera? Well, maybe I'm used to my iphone's touchscreen too much, but the touchscreen on the viewfinder drives me nuts. I might be old school (34 years old), but I really prefer actual buttons to navigate menus and such. I used to own a Canon Vixia HF100 and really enjoyed the navigation stick and buttons. I would say I have average sized hands, and find it a bit hard to get the right menu selection with my finger at times.

Now I did go with the 16gb version and have no regrets though I can't ever see myself opting for using its internal storage. I like to be able to pop out my sd card and just watch my videos on my PS3 or computer for editing instantly. Don't like the hassle of transferring images via usb. Also, wanted a black body as opposed to the silver one. Yes, I'm that picky. LOL. I like the fact it has two sd card slots, so storage should never be an issue.

I also like that canon took a chance on just making it lower megapixel for ideal HD recording. Let's be honest, if you want to take pictures, use a real camera. I'd much rather have better video quality and sacrifice still photos. I know a lot of people complain about this, but it seems to make sense. You're getting "larger" pixels for higher quality low light recording. It's also nice that Canon included the HD CMOS Pro censor in this model. The same one found in the higher end G10, saving you quite a few bucks.

Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase and feel Canon has put out a very competitive product with great results. I've already bought a lens hood and extended battery to compliment the camera. (Stock battery is too small and leaves a noticeable gap at the edge. A BP819 should fit the bill nicely. I hope this review was helpful. I know a lot of reviewers commented on its other features, so that is why I omitted some of the other points. Thanks for reading.

Sony DCR-VX2100 3CCD MiniDV Handycam Camcorder w/12x Optical Zoom

UPDATE. 3-3-8. I used this camcorder to film myself making a house painting video. It has been selling on Amazon for over 10 months now. Check out house painting dvd's in the search bar from the DVD section and click on Weekend Painter's DVD! Or see a short clip at weekendpaintersdvd.com! This is the reason I bought this in the first place and it worked like the champ it is! Still going strong, but now I use for weekend trips to the mountains and beach, and so forth. Always pleased when I come home and plug it in to watch the footage!

Original review starts here: SO MUCH PRAISE ALREADY...WHERE DO I BEGIN?
Well this is simply the best camcorder I've ever owned or used. At this level I've used the GL2 in the past. But I bought the VX2100.
I took some footage of a lake recently and thought I was looking at film when I played it back on my HDTV. The color was beautiful and natural looking! One rule. The better the lighting the better the picture!

My first camcorder was a JVC in 87' VHS-C that was just about the same size as this camcorder now. But me-o-my, what a difference digital makes!!
I dig the iLink from my camcorder to my PC and TV and my DVD recorder. ilink can run the show!

Many manual features that lets a dude take control and play around when he has to and wants too! On screen menu really simple and the manual for this is well written and straight forward. But I must admit that some of the dubbing info is over my head at present as well as using memory chip tapes. But I'll get there.

12X zoom could be more but it can also be plenty! Stabilization works fine for my needs, but alot of what I shoot is tripod mounted! "Put it on the TRIPOD" {what movie was that from?} ha ha.

The 2 1/2" LCD is a bit small, works fine, but I find myself gravitating to the eyepiece. It's quicker to use and saves battery life. But the LCD is great to turn 180 degrees to shoot yourself with {ha} and use the remote with!
You might want to buy the Sony 970 battery. Don't waste or risk on other brands, this one battery I used for 6 hrs straight doing an interview and it still had life in it!! The one that come with it is of course a small battery that lasts about 2 1/2 hrs. Thats rec. play-back, stand-by etc etc. Just these two batteries is all I need!!!!!!

Also I added a wide angle lense. The Canon 58m wide anlge works fine with this unit.
Some lighting too; How about Smith Victor 2 umbrella 250 watts lights. Makes indoor shooting look like a TV show!

Lastly a mic. Depending on your use, you might want a shotgun mic for outdoors, or a lav mic indoors. The on camera mic is for people speaking rather close.

All in all I couldn't be happier that I bought "this" camchttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.giforder. I read and looked around quite awhile before I bought. I think I have more Sony products in my house than any other and this is now no exception! Lights, camera, action!

Canon GL2 MiniDV Digital Camcorder w/20x Optical Zoom

Product Description

The Canon GL2 (like its predecessor, the GL1, and its big brother, the XL1) is helping to blur the line between consumer and professional video equipment. This camcorder borrows most of those cameras' professional-quality components and puts them into a more compact, affordable camera. Though it's small enough to carry around and doesn't cost much more than a top-of-the-line consumer camcorder, the GL2 produces such high-quality results that it could be used as a broadcast video camera.

The 3 CCD System
The GL2 maximizes the capability of the DV format by using a 3 CCD (charge-coupled device) system with a separate CCD for each primary color (red, green, blue). A beam-splitting prism separates light passing through the lens into individual color components and each is sent to its own CCD. Compared to a single CCD, the 3 CCD system achieves outstanding detail with highly accurate color reproduction suitable for the demands of high-end video production - wide dynamic range, low color noise, high-contrast detail, natural color resolution and low-aliasing. The 3 CCD system also makes advanced Pixel Shift (for increased image quality) and Low Light Recording (for increased flexibility) possible.

Professional L-Series Fluorite Lens
Canon has satisfied the demands of experienced image makers for years through the power, design and quality of 35mm and broadcast TV lenses. Canon's Professional L-Series lenses utilize Fluorite, a material which provides outstanding resolution, contrast, and color reproduction- especially in lightweight, high-magnification lenses. Incorporated into the lens on the GL2, Fluorite delivers the ultimate in clarity and image quality. The Fluorite element inside the lens defeats color aberration -- the effect when the components of light stray from one another within a lens, causing a reduction in sharpness, contrast and color. The Fluorite lens precisely controls components of light providing an excellent balance of these three critical ingredients of picture quality. This is unobtainable with conventional optical glass.

To further improve image detail, Canon has intentionally shifted the green CCD (which contains 60 percent of the picture detail) half a pixel horizontally and vertically. This shift allows more accurate interpolation, resulting in an image that Canon claims rivals those from cameras with 410,000-pixel CCDs. Each pixel is 72 square microns, which is about 1.5 times the size as those in competing camcorders. This increased size increases light sensitivity, allowing you to shoot in low-light situations. All this results in outstanding detail, with highly accurate color reproduction suitable for the demands of high-end video production. The GL2 also incorporates a 20x Professional L-Series fluorite optical zoom lens, which is equivalent to 39.5-790mm, as well as a 100x digital zoom.

Audio
The GL2's omni-directional microphone is designed to deliver realistic stereo sound. Using the GL2's advanced accessory shoe expands your audio options. Audio can be recorded in 16-bit mode on two channels on one track. Alternatively, audio can be record in 12-bit mode, where the audio track is divided into two, and two channels of audio are recorded onto one track, with the other left over for audio dubbing.

Optical Image Stabilizer
Canon's superb optical stabilization system corrects camera shake instantly so even hand held shots, at full telephoto, and shots taken from a moving car, are smooth and steady. And since it is optical, there is no loss of image quality inevitable with electronic image stabilizers. It perfectly complements the high picture quality of the DV format.

Digital Stills
You can turn your GL2 into a still camera by switching to 1.7-megapixel photo mode and capturing high-resolution still images onto the camcorder's MultiMedia/Secure Digital card. (One 8 MB Secure Digital card is included with the GL2.) The full-frame images are free from time-lag blur. A six-blade circular iris, as found on Canon's top-of-the-line XL1 and XL1S models, is used for professional exposure control, helping to deliver stunning video and still photos.

Inputs and Outputs
The GL2 comes with the standard DV IEEE 1394 port (also known as FireWire) for a super-fast, lossless connection to a PC or other DV machines. You can also connect to your PC via a USB connection to download still photos. The GL2 is designed to handle two types of analog input and output: using audio/video cables (composite) or S-video. Both connections are on the camera back.

More Features

Three shooting modes: normal movie mode, digital photo mode, and the cinema-like frame movie mode.
The Custom Key function lets you create and save your own custom settings so your common shooting modes can be readily duplicated.
Digital effects are offered for a greater imaging variety, including fader, sepia, strobe motion, and black and white.
With the Interval Timer function, you can record for a selected time with a selected interval--convenient for nature observations such as flowers or sunsets.

MiniDV Format
The Canon GL2 digital video camcorder uses the standard MiniDV cassette, producing the highest quality video possible from nonbroadcast equipment. The MiniDV format standard delivers more than 500 lines of horizontal resolution. And, because it records both video and audio as digital data, this information can be transferred--without any loss of picture or audio quality--to a computer for editing, then transferred back to DV tape, without a reduction in either picture or audio quality.

Canon has satisfied the demands of experienced image makers for years through the power, design and quality of 35mm and broadcast TV lenses. Canon's Professional L-Series lenses utilize fluorite, a material that provides outstanding resolution, contrast, and color reproduction - especially in lightweight, high-magnification lenses. The fluorite element inside the lens defeats color aberration (an effect that causes a reduction in sharpness, contrast and color). The fluorite lens precisely controls components of light providing an excellent balance of these three critical ingredients of picture quality. This is unobtainable with conventional optical glass.

20x Optical zoom
Canon's 20x Professional L-Series Fluorite lens for the XL2 is the equivalent, in 35mm format, of a 42.3 - 846mm lens when the camera is recording in 16:9 widescreen format. When the 20x Professional L-Series Fluorite lens for the XL2 is recording video in the TV-standard 4:3 aspect ratio, it is the equivalent, in 35mm format, of a 51.8 - 1036mm lens.

Super Range Optical Image Stabilization (VAP type)
Canon's superb optical stabilization system corrects camera shake instantly so even hand held shots, at full telephoto, and shots taken from a moving car, are smooth and steady. And since it is optical, there is no loss of image quality inevitable with electronic image stabilizers. It perfectly complements the high picture quality of the DV format.

Previously, optical image stabilizers have used a gyro sensor to detect camcorder vibration (the data from which controls a vari-angle prism that continuously corrects the path of the incoming light). SuperRange goes one step further by examining the image after it is received by the CCD, and detecting any low-frequency vibrations missed by the gyro. This data is fed back to accelerate and refine the movement of the vari-angle prism. This greatly improves performance for low frequency vibration, resulting in the most advanced optical image stabilization available today.

f/1.6 - f/3.5
Canon's 20x Professional L-Series Fluorite lens features a fast aperture of f/1.6, variable to f/3.5 at full telephoto. This maximum aperture of f/1.6 aids in capturing quality video in low light conditions.

72mm filter thread
With a standard 72mm filter thread, the 20x Professional L-Series Fluorite lens offers the availability of a wide variety of filters from Canon and other suppliers.

You can customize the XL2 to fit your specific application and preferences through a full range of accessories. They include optional lenses, viewfinders, mounts and microphone adapters.

6 blade iris diaphragm
A six-blade circular iris is used in the XL2 for professional exposure control. This helps to deliver stunning video and still photos.

2 independent ND filters
The 20x Professional L-Series Fluorite optical zoom lens includes two neutral density filters to help control light -- for example under bright, sunlit conditions, or when less depth of field is desired. The two built-in filters, 1/6 ND and 1/32 ND, can be used independently.

Electronic focus and zoom ring
The focus ring and the zoom ring are independent controls on the 20x lens. They are servo controlled and the speed can be changed by the speed of the rotation of the ring. There is also a zoom control on the handgrip and one on the top handle.

Zoom preset position
This function allows memorization of a zoom point, so that the lens can return to that framing by a push of the button. The speed of the zoom can easily be controlled.

More Features, More Capabilities
Peripheral Illumination Correction, Chromatic Aberration Correction, and Distortion Correction

The EOS 5D Mark III features a number of corrective tools to accommodate for the particulars of the lens used. Canon's lens peripheral illumination correction feature corrects light falloff in the corner of the image. Chromatic aberration can be corrected at the time of shooting with the 5D Mark III's Chromatic Aberration Correction tool. The new Distortion Correction feature corrects distortions such as curved lines by correcting for the characteristics of the particular lens used to take the shot so images that may have been distorted in the captured image appear straight. The camera has correction data for a number of EF lenses preloaded, and new lenses can be added to the camera's database via EOS Utility. The camera can even distinguish between different lenses of the same model using the serial number (with compatible EF lenses).
Auto Picture Style & Scene Intelligent Auto (A+)

The EOS 5D Mark III not only features a number of Canon's Picture Style settings but also a new Picture Style Auto setting that finely controls color tones for every composition based on information from the camera's EOS Scene Detection System. This can be an effective feature not only in normal scenes, where "standard" punchy contrast will be used, but also in nature and outdoor scenes, where the blues and greens will look more vivid without the need to switch the camera's Picture Style to Landscape.
In-Camera RAW Processing & JPEG Resize

The EOS 5D Mark III features state of the art in-camera RAW processing for quick conversion of RAW files to JPEG with control with control over size, brightness, WB, Picture Style, Auto Lighting Optimizer, Noise reduction, color space, distortion correction and more. Additionally, the EOS 5D Mark III features expanded Quick Control functions during playback like image protect, image rotate, rating, RAW image processing, resize, highlight alert, AF point and image jump, meaning a streamlined workflow can begin in the field.
Comparative Playback

The EOS 5D Mark III's comparative playback mode enables images to be played back two at a time, side by side. A tremendous, in-camera timesaver, comparative playback means images can quickly be enlarged simultaneously to compare focus, blur and noise, and can be individually rated, deleted or locked.
Trimming Function

For multi-format applications, the EOS 5D Mark III can shoot with an aspect ratio of 1:1, 3:2, 4:3 or 16:9 during live view shooting. With gridded overlays, images can be trimmed in-camera with the actual image file cropped in Canon's Digital Photo Pro software.
Silent Shooting

For the first time in a 5D-Series camera, the EOS 5D Mark III offers a silent, low vibration shooting mode. By slowing down and muting the shutter and mirror reflex action, the camera is capable of handheld, virtually imperceptible operation for discrete shooting in more situations at speeds of up to 3 fps.

THE BEGINNING OF THE NEW

A new era in digital SLR technology is about to begin. Up to now, digital SLRs simply replaced film with an electronic imaging device, which did not significantly change the products in terms of size, weight and user interface. The new, revolutionary mirrorless camera, the OM-D E-M5, has an exceptionally light and compact body. Its Electronic View Finder enables photographers to check exposure levels, white balance and preview Art Filter effects in real-time. When shooting, the photographer can instantly "create" a truly unique world and preserve it in exceptional quality. The "world" will be transformed from something you see to something you "take part" in.

The OM-D is a groundbreaking, new digital interchangeable lens camera perfect for people who want to "take part", "create", and "share".

HIGH IMAGE QUALITY

Three key factors contribute to the OM-D's unprecedented image quality: a wide lineup of M.ZUIKO DIGITAL lenses for sharp, clear subject capture, a new 16-megapixel Live MOS image sensor for rich tonal expression, and an advanced TruePic VI image processor for superb color fidelity. The optimal balance of these factors ensures the high resolution, sensitivity, and color accuracy you need to brilliantly capture the world around you.

FAST AF

The world's fastest* AF system, FAST AF, has been made even faster and more accurate on the OM-D. Improved new 3D Tracking AF assures you won't miss the moment even when subjects move toward or away from you, and the new high-sensitivity image sensor ensures superior AF performance even in dim light. *Among digital cameras with interchangeable lenses available as of February 8, 2012, when using the OLYMPUS M. 5-AXIS IMAGE STABILIZATION

The OM-D is equipped with the world's first 5-axis image stabilization system, and can compensate for vertical, horizontal, and rotational camera shake that conventional 2-axis systems of the past have been unable to handle. Built into the camera body to ensure effective stabilization with all lenses, its unique 5-axis design makes it particularly effective when taking high-magnification telephoto shots, macro close-ups, and long exposures. In addition, it can be activated by pressing the shutter button halfway, so you can also use it to stabilize the viewfinder image and obtain a crisp, clear view of your subject that makes it easy to frame and compose your shots.

DUST-PROOF & SPLASH-PROOF CONSTRUCTION

Trouble-free shooting in all environments is assured by our proven dust-proof and splash-proof technology. Numerous specially constructed seals throughout the body protect the camera from sand, dust, rain, and water spray, making it ideal for all kinds of outdoor shooting. What's more, this protection extends to the M.ZUIKO ED 12-50mm F3.5-6.3 EZ lens, the bundled detachable flash unit, and the optional HLD-6 grip and power battery holder.

Being honest, I too had no clue of what I really needed to survive until I was thrust into my own personal disaster with no one to depend on! It takes a strong person to admit that I’ve made a few mistakes early on that had death knocking on my door on more than one occasion. See, several years ago, being fed up with a society that valued excess over frugality and trendy clothes over necessity, I decide to get away from it all and simply disconnect from what I saw as a world that really had no place for someone like me.
Some Say I Went Off The Grid!

But.. Why Should You Listen to Me?

Ed Corcoran As I’m sure you’ve noticed by now… Things are changing, but not for the better. Governments are abusing their powers, stealing from the people and taking any freedom that we have left in the name of security. If people were more self-reliant, I believe that we wouldn’t be where we are today. Politicians would be held accountable and your rights would still be intact because we wouldn’t need the benevolent government to take care of us from the cradle to the grave. Every week we hear of some new natural or man-made disaster or even a terrorist plot to destroy us all. Aren’t you tired of living in fear?
This Time You Can’t Afford To Be Wrong…

Nobody likes to think about the worst case scenario becoming a harsh reality, but it’s a question that we should all be asking ourselves in these uncertain political and economic times. We like to believe that everything is going to be alright and nothing is as bad as it seems. Or that the warnings of disaster and upheaval are just the rantings of paranoid fear mongers and “right wing” conspiracy nuts, with no real foundation in reality. political collapse Trust me… I know it’s easier to just bury your head in the sand and believe that they are not true… But you can’t! It almost sounds clichĆ©, but I can’t think of another time in recent history when there have been so many threats to our personal freedom, security and safety. With the dangers of an economic collapse, political and corporate corruption, attacks on our liberty, rogue nuclear nations, fanatical terrorist states, the alarming increase of natural (and not-so-natural) disasters, and mounting civil unrest, these are indeed precarious times to say the least. The question you have to ask yourself is… Without reliable solutions within your grasp, doesn’t it seem logical that a dangerous situation is almost a certainty! Even among those that are aware of the dangers on our domestic and international landscapes, many wouldn’t have the first clue about what to do if our infrastructure suddenly collapsed, or if they were forced to evacuate their homes.
You Can Save The Lives of Others…

Not Just Your Own! In a large-scale disaster or emergency, you can’t rely on police, or medical responders to come to your rescue. They’ll be way too busy dealing with the chaos. You must be prepared to deal with things like, gangs, looters, disease, finding water and food, reliable shelter, self-defense and even the death of a loved one. And anyone who’s lived through hurricane Katrina can tell you, you can’t count on FEMA for much help. So you’re basically on your own!! You may have to deal with a hostile urban environment. There may be threats to your health, property, or even your freedom. You may have to “get out of Dodge” altogether, and make a go of it out in the relative safety of the wilderness. In any of those situations, you’ll have only your own wits, and expertise to rely on to keep yourself and your family safe. Most good, hard working people do not have the luxury to spend years learning, training and testing survival techniques. Are you prepared to defend yourself and loved ones from others that will surely seek to relieve you of your food, water and possibly your life because they themselves were not prepared? Let me assure you that these things DO & WILL HAPPEN in disaster events.
Even The Media Is Trying To Warn Us…

You may have noticed that there are now popular television shows that are capitalizing on the fear propaganda by exposing the population to a “survivalist” mindset. Are “they” trying to tell us something or maybe even warn us of things to come?
Of course most of us will never find ourselves stranded in the African plains or living with a tribe of natives in the middle of the Amazon, but none-the-less starvation or danger can find you anywhere and at anytime. The thing about survival is that it’s not an event that you can make a reservation for, it’s not a dream you can wake up from when things get too uncomfortable… it is real and it WILL kill you if you’re not prepared.

Your Family Is Also At Risk…

The mainstream media goes further by depicting situations involving family and the reality that more than likely, others will be depending on you for their survival. Man Woman Wild Reality TV has also brought the idea of family or survival with a partner to the table with the popular series “Man Woman Wild” and “Dual Survival”. While these shows do have useful information, they are also “entertainment”. Try keeping it together when your family is starving or when you have to do things that you never thought you’d do. Are you ready gamble your family’s lives on a few tricks that you “sort of”, “kinda” remember from a TV show? Come on let’s be real here… When the &#@* hits the fan… and it will, you may be the only one qualified to protect those around you. Even the ones that dismissed your warnings about the future will look up to you when they have nowhere else to turn.
There Is Nothing to Fear if You Are Prepared!

Recently there’s been much talk about “financial meltdown”, “recessions” and a coming “social collapse”. Knowing what is coming and being prepared for any situation is the key to surviving without fear! You’re about to discover the broadest range of information and resources that cover the total spectrum of survivalist scenarios all in one place. You won’t find a wealth of information like this anywhere on the Internet or in any book. While some others do a good job of providing accurate information, they tend to focus on only one or two areas of interest. That’s why I decided to pool all this life-saving information in one convenient place. In this course, my goal is to provide an in-depth resource with tools and guides that cover the broadest range of survival situations. Sounds like a tall order, believe me, I know. Which is why our staff of experts are constantly working to add to our vault of valuable information and resources. Every month, you can look forward to new updates and additions that will help you become a complete survivalist! In areas such as…

Disaster Preparedness, Surviving “In-Place”, Emergency Wilderness Survival, Surviving a Nuclear Attack, Self-Sustainability, Urban Survival, Possible 2012 Scenarios , And Much More…

Contrary to popular belief; most survivalists are not paranoid, fringe-element, Rambo types who live on raw meat and pray for Armageddon. We’re sensible, well-balanced, Patriotic folks who know the difference between optimism, and full-on denial. It doesn’t matter if you are a man or a woman, it’s about prudence, not paranoia. Or, as the saying goes: “Pray for the best, but prepare for the worst.” Living with a philosophy towards survival does not mean that you have to spend a lot of time, effort, or money on things that will prove useless, or futile in the event a disaster does not occur. Survival preparedness is not about stockpiling a bunch of food that you’ll never eat, or learning skills that you’ll never use. It’s about integrating knowledge and practices into your existing life-style that will ultimately improve your quality of life, no matter what happens (or doesn’t happen). Not to mention, that the peace of mind, and sense of independence and self-confidence you’ll get from knowing you’re equipped to handle just about any situation is priceless in itself! And the things you’ll learn can be applied to numerous areas of your life; such as:

Saving Money by Preserving Your Own Food, Knowing How to Treat Minor and Major Injuries, Producing Your Own Energy and Lowering Your Bills, Growing Your Own Vegetables (even in the city), Knowing How To Defend Yourself On The Streets, Using Natural Remedies Instead of the Pharmacy , Solving Problems With Home-Made Solutions

And the list goes on and on!

Needless to say, knowledge, and these skill-sets have the ability to enrich your life in countless ways, even outside of a disaster scenario. And you’ll also have the added benefit of being prepared to make the transition from your modern lifestyle into one of self-sufficiency, should things take a turn for the worst. Others spend countless hours searching the internet and hundreds of dollars, just to obtain a fraction of the information that you’ll have access to as a member of Complete Survivalist.
Here are a few of over 20 Survival and Preparedness Guides that you’ll get instant access to:

Escape and Evasion – Chance Sanders
In this interview, I’m talking with security expert; Chance Sanders about escape and evasion techniques in a grid-down, societal collapse situation. Chance is a former U.S. Marine, where he was a weapons and marksmanship instructor. He currently works as a tactical and security consultant (for an “undisclosable” agency) and works closely with Dave Canterbury at his Pathfinder Survival School. Chance has a lot of knowledge about how to keep yourself safe when the world goes sideways and there’s danger all around.
Surviving a Nuclear Attack – Janet Liebsch

Contrary to popular belief, a nuclear attack IS a survivable event (provided you’re not at ground zero when the bomb drops). Along with her husband Bill, Janet Liebsch has spent a lifetime learning survival techniques for the most horrific disasters and co-authored the book: It’s a DISASTER!… and What are YOU Gonna do About it? In this interview we discuss what to do before, during and after a nuclear attack and how to emerge on the other side alive an healthy.
How to Build an Experdient Forge – Corcceigh Green
Corcceigh Green is a homesteader, blacksmith and all-around self-reliance expert, because he lives the life and walks the talk, out in the wilds of northern Idaho. In this interview, Corcceigh explains how to build an expedient forge for metal-working in an austere environment after a collapse (it’s a lot easier than you may think!) and what kinds of tools an materials you will need to get a rudimentary “smithy” up and running.
Metal Working – Corcceigh Green
As a follow-up to Corcceigh’s instruction on how build an expedient forge, in this interview we talk to Corcceigh about the finer details of working with metal, tool making, and where to find materials. Fortunately, in a post-collapse situation, it’s not about mining and smelting ore. There will be all kinds of refined metals already laying around you after the crash happens. It’s all about what you can use and how to process it into the tools and items that you will need.
Earthquake Survival – Janet Liebsch
In this conversation, the co-author of “It’s a DISASTER” returns to discuss what we should to prepare for and survive an earthquake. We all saw what happened in Japan when they got struck by an earthquake and the most repeated comment heard in the media was how much worse the situation could have been had the Japanese not been as prepared as they were. Earthquakes are starting to happen in areas that are not normally prone to them, so it’s best to be prepared!
Surviving a Nuclear Power Plant Disaster – Janet Liebsch
The United States has over 100 nuclear power plants (most concentrated on the eastern seaboard). What if there was meltdown, power failure or terrorist attack? Would you know what to do to protect yourself? Japan is still suffering from the aftermath of the Fukushima powerplant disaster following the earthquake and tsunami. In this interview we discuss how to prepare for and respond to such a nuclear power plant disaster.
Conflict Resolution – Jim Cobb
In any group, there’s always the potential for conflict to arise. Especially in a survival group after a collapse. In this interview, we have survival expert, private investigator and security professional; Jim Cobb discussing the skills and techniques that you can use to diffuse mitigate or eliminate conflict when tension and emotions are running high in a survival situation and everything is on the line.
Homestead High-Tech – John Milandred
John Milandred is the founder of “Pioneer Living” an online magazine that teaches people how to live the way they did in the days of the American pioneers. John has been living this lifestyle for almost a decade on his homestead in south-east Oklahoma and in this installment, John shares with us an ecologically friendly, low-cost (and low effort) method for heating your water and home that’s completely sustainable and only needs renewing every 18 months. It’s amazing!

What is Hosting?

Hosting (also known as Web site hosting or Web hosting) is the business of housing, serving and maintaining files for one or more Web sites, and providing Internet access (bandwidth). Hosting provides individuals or organizations with the systems to store information, images, video, or other content accessible to users of the Web. In a sense, you rent space on a computer to hold your Web site. Your host, the computer where your Web site files are stored, assigns an address (DNS) for your files to your domain name so that anyone can find your Web site on the Internet by typing your domain name.

Whether you choose Windows Hosting or Linux Hosting, our world-class Web Hosting services also include email, databases, FREE applications, FREE access to the exclusive Go Daddy Hosting Connection community and much more.

Unlike many competing Web Hosting Companies, we own, operate and support our hosting services and pass the savings on to you. Our Affordable Web Hosting is fine for most personal and small siness sites. We also offer Business Hosting packages that offer discounted bundles with all the products you need to build, optimize and promote your Web site.

While our hosting plans are ideal for most individuals and small businesses, our Dedicated Servers and Virtual Dedicated Servers are perfect for hosting multiple traffic-intensive Web sites on one server, running enterprise or gaming applications, or operating development environments. You always have the option of purchasing a preconfigured dedicated or virtual dedicated server plan or the flexibility to build your own server.

And if conventional hosting plans can't keep up with your demands, Grid Hosting from Go Daddy puts the power of multiple servers to work for you. With elastic scalability, 99.9% uptime and no need for site migration during growth spurts, Grid Hosting is always at the ready.
